Over the evaluation period, AWM channelled £230m into SRB activities.
Key Findings
The evaluation study on the Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) was completed in May 08 and the key findings include:
• 10,400 jobs created and safeguarded
• 300 new businesses
• 650 businesses assisted
• 50,000 people assisted in skills development
• 150 hectares of Brownfield land reclaimed.
• £370m GVA (based on the assumption that all outputs created by the projects will last for one year)
