Ansty Park

Ansty Park, near Coventry, is becoming a new regional hub for science, technology and innovation, and will provide 1.5 million sq ft of space dedicated to research and development.
By 2015 it will create or safeguard 5,000 high-value, technology-driven jobs.
The £300 million technology research and development site has already attracted communications giant Ericsson and leading car manufacturer TATA is discussing an option of locating its European R&D Centre at the Park.
The Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC) which is currently being built at Ansty Park will form part of an expanding UK network of advanced manufacturing centres which will bridge the gap between academic research and commercial production to meet the needs of industry.
Once built, it will allow businesses to test new techniques and manufacturing methods well ahead of full-scale production.
The MTC, with funding from Advantage West Midlands and emda (the East Midlands development agency), currently brings together industry giants Rolls Royce, Airbus and Aero Engine Controls with the leading UK research universities of Birmingham, Nottingham and Loughborough, as well as TWI Limited the operating division of The Welding Institute.
Advantage West Midlands invested over £40 million in Ansty Park.
There are also plans in place for a £10 million scheme to improve access to the site from junction 2 of the M6 motorway and the A46.
