Stoneleigh Park

Stoneleigh Park

Situated midway between Coventry and Warwick off the A46, Stoneleigh Park is the home of the world-famous Royal Show. The park is in the freehold ownership of the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) with a core area of approximately 100 hectares (250 acres) with peripheral land providing a total area of over 400 hectares (over 1,000 acres).

Following the foot and mouth outbreak in 2001, RASE opted to diversify in order to reflect the changing face of UK agriculture. Their vision is to create a national and international hub at Stoneleigh which will be the centre of a network to encourage collaboration, innovation and the creation of new businesses in the rural sector.

Advantage West Midlands has supported masterplanning work by RASE to examine ways to deliver physical elements of the scheme. The proposals include improved access from the A46, improved exhibition facilities, an innovation park, a zone dedicated to livestock, a national equine centre and a refurbished and expanded hotel.
