Projecting a powerful voice and a positive image of the West Midlands is vital to the longterm economic prosperity of the region.  Current perceptions of the region are varied.  We know from research that those who experience the region become positive advocates for it – but there are many who continue to hold outdated notions of what our region has to offer.

We need to address this and a strong and shared evidence base is a crucial element of this work.  Successful regions are those capable of understanding and articulating their strengths.

Advantage West Midlands seeks to harness the voices of business and individuals across the region into a single powerful force capable of sharing this knowledge with the wider world.  Our goal is to use our region's networks to reposition the West Midlands in the minds of those, across Europe and beyond, who have the ability to contribute to our region's long term economic prosperity.
