The Joint Strategy & Investment Board (JS&IB) has been created to provide the strategic leadership to guide the West Midlands response to the very significant economic, social and environmental challenges it faces. It comprises six members from the West Midlands Leaders’ Board and up to six members of Advantage West Midlands Board (including, by Advantage West Midlands’ invitation, Business Voice West Midlands).
JS&IB is advised by a group of senior executives from Local Government, Advantage West Midlands, Homes & Communities Agency (Opens in new window), Highways Agency (Opens in new window), Job Centre Plus, and Government Office (Opens in new window). Collectively, and working with other partners, JSIB offers a powerful and authoritative voice for the West Midlands.
