Following the success of the Redundant Building Grant Scheme, Advantage West Midlands has developed a small capital grant scheme, funded under the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE).

The Rural Enterprise Grant (REG) is available to farmers and specific rural micro-businesses in the West Midlands region. Funds are available for eligible applicants for investments in Environmental Technologies, Food and Drink, Tourism and Livestock related activities. The Rural Enterprise Grant (REG) will be administered by Herefordshire Council.

Further information on how you can apply for a Rural Enterprise Grant is available in the REG bidding rounds and grants section.

Using the well-established LEADER approach, we are already working with eight local partnerships to develop their own strategies to deliver the social and community measures of the RDPE programme.

Further details on how you can engage in this process can be obtained from the relevant lead in each area. Contact details can be found in the ‘Related Documents’. Alternatively contact AWM using the details below.

Rural Development Programme for England Business Support is part of Solutions for Business, the Government's package of publicity funded business support delivered to help companies start and grow. More information on Solutions for Business is available here.
